We prioritize your privacy. Our app Submodus is designed with minimal data collection in mind:

- No Social Functions: There are no social features such as likes, comments, or direct messaging that require data collection.
- No Location Data: We do not access or track your location.

App Features & Content
Submodus allows you to view content posted by exclusively approved creators. You can follow creators and favorite content locally on your device. This information is kept local and is not tied to a personally identifiable identity on our servers.
Purchase Information
Our app offers a single full access pass paywall. We use RevenueCat to process and manage these transactions. RevenueCat is a trusted third-party service that helps us deliver subscription/purchase features.
Data Collected via RevenueCat
When you make a purchase, the following data may be processed:
- Purchase History: Information about your in-app purchases and
subscriptions, including what you purchased and when. This data is used for:
- Verifying your purchase and unlocking premium features
- Preventing fraud
- Analytics to understand our app's performance
- Device Identifier: An anonymous identifier used solely to associate your purchases with your device and restore purchases across devices.
How This Data Is Used
Purchase data is used exclusively for:
- Processing and validating your purchases
- Enabling access to premium features you've purchased
- Restoring purchases when you reinstall the app or switch devices
- Aggregate analytics (not linked to you personally)
Important: We do not link your purchase history to your identity. RevenueCat uses anonymous app user IDs, and we do not set custom user IDs that could identify you personally.
Website Analytics
Our website (submodus.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for understanding website performance. This service:
- Does not use cookies or localStorage
- Does not "fingerprint" visitors via IP address or User Agent
- Does not collect personally identifiable information
- Provides only aggregate, privacy-respecting metrics
